Do you store the content of my meetings?
No. Audio is transcribed in transit and never stored on our servers. Transcripts and minutes are saved only on your Mac, in the folder you choose. Details in the privacy policy.
Does audio leave my Mac?
Yes, while you record. It is sent encrypted to our server, which relays it in real time to the transcription service (Deepgram). Text is sent to the language model (OpenAI) to write minutes, summaries, answers and translations.
Do I have to tell the other participants?
Yes. In many countries recording or transcribing a conversation requires that participants know. Tell them when the meeting starts.
Does it work with Zoom or Google Meet?
Today the app waits for Microsoft Teams as the signal that a meeting is underway. Audio is captured system-wide, but other apps are not supported yet.
Which languages does it transcribe?
Spanish, English, or both mixed in the same meeting. The interface and minutes are in Spanish or English, your choice in Settings.
Can I use it on another Mac?
Write to soporte@fadenoapp.com and we will send a code for the second machine. Enter it in Settings → Enter a new code.
Do I need to create an account?
No. The app is activated with a code you receive after purchase. The app never asks for your name, email or a password.
